Our church and some prayer requests

Many of you will remember that Shin Urayasu Grace Church just started worship in the Coulbournes' apartment last November with just two MTW missionary families and two Japanese Christians who live in this area and are part of our core group.  The picture below includes a few extra people who came to our first worship...

Then, in March of this year we moved into a small rented space for worship and had an official start.  The picture below includes our core group and some Christian brothers and sisters from Kaihin Makuhari Grace Church.

Since this time we have been able to start two Bible Studies for ladies, Moms' and Kids' Club, Grace Kids (Sunday mornings and special events on Saturdays) and host many family friendly outreach events.  We have been often asked about adult English classes, and since it is a real felt need in our community, we decided to have three trial classes in November that will meet three times each.  The English classes will all end with a Bible time that will introduce our students to the Bible and help them understand why we want to start a church in  Shin Urayasu.  Please pray for these outreach-oriented English classes in November.  Robert and Lisa will be teaching the classes.  One of the classes is geared specifically for men, so please pray that men would sign up for this class!
